*pssst. peaksiessss*

As promised, here it is. A little sneak peak at my Etsy shop:

* this one was done for my baby cousin Max, so it, obviously will not be for sale. But I’m willing to recreate it, with of course a few adjustments to make it personalized to youuu :]

*this one says “This is unlike the story it was written to be…” The lyrics are from one of my very favorite Joanna Newsom songs. This one will be for sale.

*this one will also be for sale. Its not yet completed, but I’m working on that. I’m not sure what it needs, but I just don’t feel like its finished just yet… Suggestions are welcome :]]

*these notebooks are my very favorite to do. They are just composition notebooks that are collaged. I love, love, love finding images, and quotes, and such to collage. Very very big hobby of mine. This one is my journal from my sophomore/junior year of HS (so,, not for sale. ha)

*this is a big sketchbook made from old library books. they are sooo much fun to make. and super easy too. they will be available in all different sizes. :]

*these are a few of my smaller paintings. they will all be for sale. they vary in style and such. so…yeah :]

in addition to all of that…
i’m also doing custom paintings and stuffs like that.
the notebooks and sketchbooks will all be customized to fit what youu want.

love day.

its coming up…
i usually dread it. but for some reason, this year is it doesn’t seem too bad.
thursday, i’m hanging out with my single friends, and wallowing in our self pity. (maybe that’ll include some pictures. hopefully not… ha) friday, i’ll probably do something with colby. then saturday, grandma invited all of us kiddos over to her house for a vday party, complete with lasagna, movies, and board games :]
i’m super excited. no time for vday depression for this gal!
so, in light of the whole situation, here is some valentines/love/whatever inspiration for you all:

and… this is my favorite of all:

i picked up some new moon themed conversation hearts for my 4th graders in mentoring. i also plan on making them actual twilight inspired vday cards too. :] how adorable.

the for-real-this-time etsy preview will be up soon, i promise. most likely late tomorrow night.
we’re looking at a feb. 28th opening. that is a sunday. do not forget!! :]]
i’ll be back tomorrow with more on that subject.

oh boy(s)

Things have been stressful lately.
Boys, of course.
and school. and friends. and life.
yuck, yuck, yuck.

The only good thing to look forward to, really, is next month when all my friendsss come for a visit.
I miss them a lottt.

I know that I promised a full recap of the weekend, AND spirit day pictures… but, I’m exhausted. and I don’t have any pictures of Spirit Day to upload… so I’m waiting for Cassie to get on it and put them on Facebook. Haha. (P.s. the new layout is dumb)

Valentines day is coming up. I don’t have a boy. but that is ok. I have a best friend to go out with. Hopefully.
He has this habit of
a) never letting me know if we’re hanging out or not
and
b) never texting me back.

its rather frustrating. but whatevss. I shall live, right?

I got my happy mail card from Miss Kristie today! It really brightened up my day for a while. Lovesss. I need to mail hers soon. Procrastination is a bad, bad habit for me.

I was having a bit of a bad day, until mom got me two new pairs of shoes.
That really made my downer of a day a-ok with me.
I wish I had pictures to share with you guys :(
Butttt.. I don’t. Lame, Haley. Lame.
here’s a few old ones. but they are favorites. they were taken almost exactly a year ago:

Both were taken the night I stepped into RVA for the very first time, everrr.
It was a good day. <3 I miss it a lot.

I'll be back soon, I promise.
Plus I have some little previews of my Etsy stuff to show off :]
That's right; be excited! :D

secrets are my favorite

I have a secret for youuu :]
I am officially going to be opening up an Etsy in late February
I have sooo many ideas for my shop; I’m outrageously excited.
Some of the things I have planned:
custom paintings
iphone/ipod cases
custom tote bags
journals, sketchbooks, list books, etc.

so much to look forward to in the next month :]

so this was just a little fyi post.
p.s! omgoshhhh. february 28: big old blog party over hereeee.
it will be the one year anniversary of my humble little blog.
i’m so excited i’ve somewhat kept this going for a year.
colby started one too around this time. he doesn’t really update his as often as me, but it is still so much fun to read when he does. he writes some of the most insightful… and silly… stuff. :]
love my best friend.

today i think i will dye my hair, and hang out with my friend jamie.
he and i never ever hang out, but when we do, we have a ton of fun.
we should probably hang out more often.
i’ve been on a completely Jesus-music kick for almost a week now. it’s crazy how just a slight change in what you listen to can change your mood. i’ve been the most positive person this week.
despite being called some nasty, nasty names last sunday. totally made me feel sick to my stomach. but oh well, that is done and over. Jesus is on my side! :] haha
YESTERDAY: was my half birthday! officially half way to nineteen. it is also bff breighann’s 18th birthday on sunday. we had a half day of school, so we ventured into springfield with our friend cassie in celebration, and went to lunch at zio’s (ate so much bread…), and then went to rva to see miss sunday, and buy some sunglasses, and then i forced my friends to go to funtiques. not breigh’s style at all, but i think she secretly really liked it :]

loveee yousss.
have an awesome saturday :]

girls night, version 2.0

My five year old cousin, Savannah, is the cuuuutest ever.
She came over and stayed for the evening, and a good majority of the night with me.
We had fun:

I did a painting for mine & Breighann’s future home:

wellllll.
that is all i have for now. :]

slight change in plans.

after lots (seriously… a TON) of thought and prayer, i have decided to stay where i’m at, and go to otc for two years… and then figure out my life from there.
this summer, i will be moving to springfield with some of my besttt friends, and going to school there.
this is one of the biggest decisions i’ve ever made, and i’m really hoping it was the right one.
as much as i would love moving away, and starting completely fresh, it just doesn’t feel right to me.
so, i’m putting those plans on hold, and staying close to my family for now.
i’m choosing to look at this in a much more positive way though:
i won’t have to give up grandma nights (biggg relief… i was worried i’d have to pass that tradition on to my cousin savannah, and she’s five… so i’m not sure how that would go)
art won’t have to be put on the back burner, due to living in a prison cell of a dorm room
i’ll be 25 minutes away from my family, as opposed to 4.5 hours.
rva will drain me of all my money, since i’ll live closer to it, but that’s ok, because i’ll be suuuper cute all the time.
plus, i’ll be around when all my cuteeee out of town friends come for a visit.
and i’ll have the cutest apartment everrr.
:]

i’m actually very excited about the next few years. cross your fingers this works out the way i hope it will.

story time:
my dad and i listen to the same-ish music. he will basically listen to whatever i want when we’re in the car. but he always ends up liking it, too. case in point: kate nash.

the other night, my dad came in my room to ask if i wanted to watch a movie. i was trying to figure out the whole crochet thing, so i said no. he stayed way longer than intended though, to dance around my room, and play his little handmade cigar box guitar to “hide and seek” by imogen heap, and “foundations” by kate nash.
he loves her. he used to keep my cd in the car so he could listen to it. really, he is the cutest ever, but i was just sitting there thinking, “really? my dad… kate nash.. not cool”.
but its times like these that make me wanna stay in marshfield forever and ever :]

well, i’m going to get off of the computer now and finish watching star wars with my grandma.
who is asleep… so its more like, i’ll just finish watching it by myself.
oh well. not a bad plan. :]

life in lists.

i’m addicted, hardcore, to making lists. i love, love, love it.
one of the things i reallyyy want is a listography book! i recently made a mini version of one for my best friend, breigh.
so i think i’ll share a few lists with youu :]
favorite bands i’ve seen live
- underoath
- jack’s mannequin
- katy perry
- breathe carolina
- meg & dia
favorite films i’ve seen so far in 2010 (not necessarily released in 2010)
- the great buck howard
- district 9
- law abiding citizen
- orphan
- taming of the shrew
my to do list for todayyy
- clean room/ put away my laundry
- organize crafts
- take photos
- church
- finish up last minute projects for friends
- get together happy mail stuffsss.

i’m in love with today.
i overslept :/ and missed church (oops..) and went to lunch at dairy queen with my friend jamie.. and now i’m home, just relaxing. maybe going to nap sometime, granted i finish my goals for today. :]

girls night on friday was so much fun! it ended up being like, a million of us going. (me, breigh, cassie b, cassie l, alyssa, jazmine, and brittany). we got all dressed up and went to springfield for dinner, and had plans of seeing the lovely bones, but didn’t make it on time, so we headed downtown for coffee… and then once we got there, decided to go home. hahaha. we are silly girls.
at one point in dinner, breigh had to take her meds (she has a kidney disease, she has to take around 27-30 pills per day) and cassie b. asked our waiter if he didn’t mind being paid in pills… pretty sure he thinks we are all crazies.
last night, colby and i had a date. we went to see Daybreakers, the new vampire movie. first of all, it looked scary-ish, so i was a bit surprised he suggested we see it, because he HATES movies like that. and it looked interesting enough, so i was all for seeing it. once it started though… omg. within ten minutes, colby was begging for us to leave, and i was sitting there covering my eyes.
gore, and horror movies in general, don’t usually bother me… but it was SO overdone in this movie.. wayyy too much for me. the plot was an awesome idea (only 5% of humans are left in a nearly all vampire world; blood is rare, and the vampires are starving)… but it was poorly executed.
dumb movie. not seeing that one everrr again. hahah

okie dokieee.
i think i’m gonna get started on that to do list!
have a loverly sunday.
lovesss.

girls night out.

Hola loves,
It’s girls night for Hay, Breebee, and the Cassies.
They are out dancing at a basketball game right now, but as soon as they are finished, we are getting all cute and going out for an extremely late dinner at Hinodes, and then going to see a movie.
I love my best friends <3

I will post more later, promisesss.
Maybe even some brand new photos. Maybe.
That may be pushing it a bit.
