i visited southeast missouri state university this weekend; i’m fairly sure this is where i’ll be a year from now.
i’m so excited about everything. the food was amazing. the dorms were only slightly prison-like (minus the newest ones that opened this year… they were freaking niiiiiice). and the football stadium is w.o.w.
i’m officially super excited about graduating and going off to college.
the only thing i’m not excited about is the whole being 4.5 hours away from my family. i have a bit of a separation anxiety problem, and that distance surely won’t do any good for me.
but, my aunt lives in o’fallon, which is outside of st. louis, so she’ll only be a little over two hours away. plus, cassie is going to college at lindenwood, in st. charles, which will be about two ish hours away too.
i’m so thankful they’ll be at least a little bit close to me.
i’m trying to convince colby to transfer to semo, but he says they don’t offer his major (interior design. he’s the cutest gay guy everrr). so he’s thinking of maybe looking into umsl, which is just an hour and a half away from cape girardeau.
so much planning to do.
i’m excited :]
