2009 has had its ups and downs… most definitely.
i am, without a doubt, so ready for it to be over. looking back over all of my facebook statuses and such over this past year… i was so unhappy. it’s ridiculous. obviously, that’s not the case these days. i love life so much now. :]]
here’s a look back on my year:
mine and colby’s first polaroid together!
road tripping to st. louis with colby and tobey to see Spring Awakening on Valentines Day (we were all boyfriend-less. so obviously. we had to get away ;] ) we also met like, 7 of the cast members!
grandma nights became wayy more abundant.
prom with these beautiful people. favorite memory: riding in the limo listening to ridiculous music; colby doing the “poker face” dance in the middle of the limo with kenny (the super attractive driver) watching; making jokes about telling kenny to call me for weeeeks after prom.
so many amazing photo outings with colby & amycakes.
all the interesting firework mishaps with cass and tori on the fourth of july.
road tripping (again) to st. louis for practically the worst birthday road trip everrrr.
i also turned 18. :]
i started my senior year :] which included having my senior pictures done by will vastine.
my very last h.s. homecoming :( my date was breigh though! we made a stop for boneless buffalo wings & lipstick and embroidery at her grandmas! we are sooo cool, let me tell ya.
dad got a canon rebel xsi and went crrrrazy with photography for a while.
went to see new moon with dad & cassie at midnight! such a fun, tiring, exciting night. can’t wait to do it again for eclipse & breaking dawn :]
fell in love with this little boy. mr. max was born on the day michael jackson died. how bout that one. haha.
spending christmas with my entire family. it was quite lovely.
other events included:
warped tour. road trip to arkansas with mom and her friends. going to see where the wild things are with dad on opening night. getting my permit about 3 years late. 2nd annual heath ledger remembrance day with cassie. cutting my hair wayy short. crafty weekend with crafty girls. a mini rva “internship” over the summer. and other things.
2010 will equal:
much love. much happiness.
with this new year, it will bring endings and beginnings.
i graduate high school this year.
i will also start college at southeast missouri state. which is 4.5 hours away from where i live. 4.5 hours away from my family… yikes. but it’ll all be worth it.
among my goals for the year:
eating healthier… maybe giving vegetarianism another chance. strengthening my relationship with Christ. not getting involved with old boyfriends. learn to crochet. be more outgoing. read my bible in one year. be a less emotional wreck every now and then. keep a year-long art journal. make lists and get junk done!
sounds like a good plan, yes?
i hope you have a veryy magical new years eve & a wonderful 2010.
it’s going to be amazing.
