Formspring is a b-word.
From here on out – mine is officially deleted.
Some stuff has been going on, involving some rather immature and silly, silly girls that I know. And after some minor confrontation, I have deleted my formspring and am going to just move on. I do not need such negativity in my life.
God is seriously such an amazing dude for all the wonderful things He’s done in my life recently. Through all of the lame “anonymous” drama, I’ve gotten to have so many good conversations with people that actually care about me. I have theee most wonderful friends in the world.
So, I’m thankful for the people in my life. I’m thankful for the good manners and love that my parents have instilled in me. And.. I’m thankful for the gifts and talents God has so generously blessed me with (and that “people” are just “soooo” jealous of). I can’t wait to actually utilize those talents and make others happy! :)
Speaking of using those lovely talents… my bakery plans are in the works. Its so exciting getting ready for school this fall and knowing that when I go home at the end of the day, my homework will be baking! :) Tyler is definitely a lucky guy.. haha <3
Lately I've been drawing up plans for what I want my "perfect" bakery to look like, what sorts of desserts and yummy things I'd want to sell, and what other fun things I'd want to make available at my little shop. As for location… that's still an iffy question. I've got quite a number of people pushing me to open one up in St. Louis. It's nearing the top of my list. :)
Tonight consists of…
(A show at The Front Porch; It definitely won’t look as exciting as this one, I can promise you that..haha)
(Coffee. Its just about all I can think about right now!)
(book shopping. I’m going to make g.o.o.d. use of this $30 gift card to Barnes & Noble.)
It feels like fall already, based on tonight’s agenda. Goodness me, I’m so ready for Autumn weather, good “Autumn music”, and cozyness.
Cassie and I are heading out in a few hours for a night of fun and sillyness. We only have a good 3 weeks together left, so we’re trying our best to make it count.
GOSH, college SUCKS. ;)

So this weekend has been quite amazing. Well, sort of. Lets start here…
Friday: half day of school, amazing, of course. Colby and I had plans to go to Joplin, but they fell through, but that’s okay, because his mom let us go to a Rebellions Fall show in Strafford. Probably wasn’t as fun, but still – awesome.
Saturday: Twilight DVD release. Hahaha… I KNOW. I’m a total girl for loving this. But I was super excited. I spent my entire day just waiting for my dad to come home with my copy :]] I was stoked beyond belief. So we went to Springfield for my mom’s birthday dinner (Let me tell you: the wings at Lonestar, DEFINITELY not boneless). and then we came home for a night of Twilight-viewing. My mom got up and left 30 minutes into it, claiming she “didn’t understand it”. And my dad fell asleep half way through, finally going to bed when there’s 10 minutes left. Although, I don’t blame him; he’d seen it before. (He took me to the midnight showing on Nov. 21 :]] awesome daddy I have). After we watched it, my brother Trevor, who is a newly licensed driver, comes home from his night doing who knows what in our small little town, and says “Is this a love story?”, to which I reply, yes, of course. Just when I think he’s about to leave, he sits down next me in front of the tv and says, “I love love stories! Lets watch it.” So I watch it. Again.
Sunday: Church day equals fun day. But this particulary Sunday, Colby and Tucker and I went to the zoo. Rather exciting, yeah. We messed around with our cameras, took pictures of us sticking our tongues out, oogled about Tucker’s neverending tongue, and went to Rendezvous to have some Morrocan Mint Green Tea & New York Style Cheesecake <3 Perfect afternoon with the best friend & little brother, in my humble opinion.
Monday: I got up, went tanning with Grandma, and headed into Springfield, where she & I went downtown (I coached her all the way through it too! Go Haley!!) and saw The Reader. Now, forgive me, but I don’t think Kate Winslet deserved an Oscar for her performance. Clearly, it should’ve gone to Angelina Jolie for The Changeling. Both are terrific movies, yes. But really? Kate Winslet? The best thing about her was her fake German accent. Hahah, but still; I loved the movie. I just love the book a little more.
And now, I’m at grandmother’s house. We just got done watching Twilight, since she’d never seen it. She didn’t understand it, but I think she still liked it. I think she’ll tackle the book now.
So now I’m just sitting here, munching on some popcorn, watching Repo! the Genetic Opera, trying to understand it, and not be weirded out by all the gory nastyness of it. Odd movie, it is.
Soon though: Colby and I will have a Twilight-inspired photoshoot. Which should prove to be interesting, I have no doubt.
and this weekend is Young Christian’s Weekend at Silver Dollar City, which will be fun, as always, if the weather stays nice; hopefully it will.

For some reason, I’m just toooo excited about Spring Break coming up,
Colby and I are planning on going to St. Louis to visit my aunt,
and I thought: hey, when is a better time to try out making sushi, then when you’re cooking for someone you hardly ever see?!
Good plan, I know.
I’m quite excited about doing tonnsss of fun things in StL with Colbs & the prego Leslie:]]
I gave blood today.
And usually, I don’t have a hard time with it at all.
And today, it was going quite normally. Even the finger prick didn’t hurt today, and it only took 6 minutes to get a pint outta me :]
But then, I leave to go to my next class, and I walk upstairs…and my legs turn to jelly, I swear.
And from then on, every time I moved in the slightest bit, my heartrate went through the roooof.
It sucked, lemme tell youuu. The nurses made me lie down for the longest time: it was sooo boring. I did get to talk to Stephanie about her new tattoo though, so that was fun. Lol
I think the only good thing about it was the fact that since it was my fourth time giving blood, they gave me a “Friend 4 Life” coffee cup… I don’t even drink coffee. Gee, thanks, nurse.
Not exactly new, but this is one of my most favoritest pictures ever:
Check out this showwww. See me there, yeah?

I’ll share thisss and then I gotta get ready for school :/
Ohh and if you live in the Springfield-Joplin-wherever area, try and come out to this show preeetty plllease :]]
